Black Panther Party Episode 0: The Origins Of The Party That Changed The World

This is the beginning of a much larger project about the Black Panther Party, and I expect the filmmaking to change alongside it. Episode 0 is where I am starting: with the conditions that produced the Panthers, the people who built the organization, and the government that increasingly turned its attention toward destroying it. I’m learning how to edit, record, structure a long-form video, and work with archival material while somehow getting all of it to cooperate at the same time. This is my first documentary, and you can absolutely tell in places.
